Since 1991, Rivers Electrical Corporation has been providing electrical construction and service throughout the Greater Boston area. Over the years, we have responded to industry changes by continually expanding our capabilities and today, we are a full-service commercial electrical contractor. We have earned the trust and confidence of the building community and a reputation for quality electrical construction, service and maintenance.

The safety of our workforce is our top priority. With a goal of zero-injury & zero-incident, our training programs incorporate fundamental safety principles that reinforce understanding and compliance with OSHA regulations and standards, knowledge of electrical hazards, and the importance of personal protective equipment and self-discipline. We have a Safety Committee that is responsible for obtaining employee input, setting annual safety goals, developing and auditing programs, setting training schedules, and updating policies and procedures.
Everyone at Rivers, from ownership to the newest employee, has responsibilities regarding their own safety as well as the safety of those they work with.
Projects are planned and performed with safety as a primary component. Before work begins, potentially hazardous situations are identified and adequate solutions are implemented. Regular job site monitoring and employee education are key to maintaining our focus on safety. Each field employee is required to be OSHA 10 certified, each field supervisor is required to be OSHA 30 certified.
The results of our approach to safety is evident in our incident rate and EMR which have been below the acceptable industry standards for many years. Rivers has been awarded the Associated Builders and Contractors’ Safety Training and Evaluation Program (STEP) Platinum Level for the past ten years.
